May 4 Remembrance Day Holten

  • 4 May
  • 11:00
  • Holten

Every year on May 4, a memorial ceremony is held at the Holten Canadian Cemetery in which the school children of Holten have a central role.

The schoolchildren have a central role to play in convincing them that war must be avoided, peace cannot be taken for granted and everything must be done to preserve freedom.

The commemoration begins at 11:00 a.m. and for this, this year's visitors will need an admission card. The 80th anniversary of the commemoration will be celebrated with special attention for family members of the Canadian liberators and guest speakers from Canada. The organization is in the hands of the Foundation National Holiday Celebration Holten in cooperation with the elementary schools.↵.
