Fans of cheerful regional music from Twente can look forward to a lively Friday evening at the Lutter Dorpstheater, when the band Snelbuffet will take the stage. Four experienced musicians—Toon Reysoo, Dennis Timmer, René Merbis, and Robbie Doelitzsch—who have earned their stripes in the Twente music scene, have joined forces for this performance.
Music Style
Years ago, Toon Reysoo started his hobby band Snelbuffet. Their own work, in Twents dialect, is edgy, socially critical, a little quirky, humorous, sometimes rough, and sometimes calm. The music blends rock, country, reggae, ballads, and blues. Their CD “Vette Bek” can be heard on Spotify and YouTube.
The evening promises a mix of compelling stories from the band’s rich musical careers, interspersed with playful songs.
