Nature Museum Holterberg

Beautifully situated on the south side of the Sallandse Heuvelrug you will find Natuurmuseum Holterberg. A unique museum with a rich history.
For young and old
The museum exists for more than 80 years and was founded by Piet Bos. The museum is famous for its nature dioramas. Life-size "viewing boxes," which give a wonderful glimpse of the animal world.

Adventure for children
For children, a visit to the Natuur Museum is a fantastic experience. With a fun and educational scavenger hunt crisscrossing the museum. Or on a scavenger hunt in the Forest of Daantje Das make exciting assignments. On the Groote Kikkerpad there is plenty for the youngest visitors to do.

The museum shop has a wide assortment of nature-related items. Home accessories, books, regional products, scarves and jewelry. But also stuffed animals and wooden toys.
